Maytime in the big garden

Tony's garden contains great drifts of forget-me-nots ... his narrowboat was called Forget Me Not, so we let them flower, though some people consider them to be a weed.

The population of lily of the valley has increased over the years. Yesterday morning the air was heavy with their scent.

At the back are apple, japanese maple, and white lilac trees. The rambling rose - Kifsgate - will be blooming soon.
